Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Senior Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical implementation, maintenance, and support of SAP systems, including system administration, performance tuning, system upgrades, and patch management.

SAP Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and technical support
• Proficiency in SAP system installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Knowledge of SAP architecture, components, and technologies (e.g., SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA)
• Experience with SAP system upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning
• Understands database administration concepts, particularly with SAP HANA
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies

Responsibilities:

• System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems and related components
• Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, analyze bottlenecks, and implement performance optimization measures
• System Upgrades and Patch Management: Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, support package updates, and system migrations
• System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system health, proactively identify and resolve issues, and respond to system alerts and incidents
• RedHat OS security patching update: Help customers update the RedHat 8.9 OS security patching in DEV, QAS, and Production every month
• Oracle Bundle patch update: Plan and execute the quarterly Oracle bundle patch update for SAP systems
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and guidelines
• Project Support: Provide technical support and expertise for SAP implementation projects, system migrations, and other initiatives as required

Business Skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Understands business processes and functionality related to SAP modules/applications

Consulting Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Ability to explain ideas and concepts to other project team members and client personnel
• Has a solid foundation for consulting “soft” skills necessary for client engagements

General Skills:

• Assists project team efforts in developing solutions for client situations
• Completes assignments within budget and meets project deadlines
• Keeps project management apprised of project direction and client concerns
• Analyzes and develops reliable solutions that comply with specifications and standards
