Job Role: SAP Basis Senior Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Senior Consultant to lead the technical implementation, maintenance, and support of SAP systems. This role involves configuring, monitoring, and optimizing SAP landscapes to ensure high performance, availability, and security.

SAP Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and technical support
• Proficiency in SAP system installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Knowledge of SAP architecture, components, and technologies (e.g., SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA)
• Experience with SAP system upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning
• Understands database administration concepts, particularly with SAP HANA
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies

Responsibilities:

1. System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems and related components
2. Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, analyze bottlenecks, and implement performance optimization measures
3. System Upgrades and Patch Management: Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, support package updates, and system migrations
4. System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system health, proactively identify and resolve issues, and respond to system alerts and incidents
5. RedHat OS security patching update: Help customers update RedHat 8.9 OS security patching in DEV, QAS, and Production
6. Oracle Bundle patch update: Plan and execute quarterly Oracle bundle patch updates for SAP systems
7. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and guidelines
8. Project Support: Provide technical support and expertise for SAP implementation projects, system migrations, and other initiatives

1. Excellent oral and written communication skills
2. Experience with Microsoft Office suite
3. Understands business processes and functionality related to SAP modules/applications
4. Strong analytical skills
