Job Specification:
- Overall experience of 10 years in SAP BASIS and experience in senior Basis roles, exposure to full life-cycle SAP implementations
- Strong experience in the ongoing service side of SAP BASIS Administration, supporting various SAP platforms and products
- Experience and deep understanding of SAP performance tuning, system monitoring, and SAP Archiving
- Working experience with project teams to plan different project phases, including performance testing (Stress and Volume), upgrades, patching and troubleshooting issues related to system architecture, infrastructure, connectivity, and performance
- Deep understanding of the following areas:
- SAP HANA Database
- SAP ECC
- SAP Solution manager
- Working experience in other platforms such as BW, CRM, EWM, APO, and SAP Fiori Landscape
- Working experience in S/4 is a Plus
- Experience in SAP cloud products such as Ariba/Concur/Success Factor
- Knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts
- Experience with SAP RISE working with SAP ECS is an added advantage
- Working experience with BTP platform is an added advantage
Responsibilities within the Role:
- Lead the technical architecture, design, build, delivery integration of SAP platforms
- Develop and maintain SAP Basis roadmap including patching, upgrades for all SAP platforms
- Provide technical oversight and leadership over a blended Basis team (internal + multiple service partners + SAP ECS)
- Drives governance and ensures the integrity of SAP environments leveraging best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth SAP operations
- Participate in SAP project implementations and provide technical expertise
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for SAP BASIS activities
- Stay up-to-date with latest SAP technologies and trends
- Identify and implement process improvements for SAP system operations
- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and industry standards
- Support SAP system integration with other applications
- Analyze and resolve SAP system errors and issues
