Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting, consulting, and ensuring system stability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot SAP Basis issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Develop and implement proactive monitoring strategies to predict and prevent potential issues
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and document findings and recommendations
- Maintain and optimize system performance, applying performance tuning techniques and best practices
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data
- Contribute to system upgrades and migrations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption
- Collaborate with other IT teams to diagnose and resolve cross-functional issues impacting SAP systems
- Stay current with the latest SAP Basis technologies and trends
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration
- Strong troubleshooting and RCA expertise
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis concepts, functionalities, and administration tools
- Experience with SAP HANA and cloud-based SAP deployments preferred
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex projects
- Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of the curve in the SAP Basis landscape
