Exclusive Job Opportunity: SAP Basis Manager in Charlotte, NC
Location: Charlotte, NC
Type: 12 months contract
Schedule: 4 days onsite (travel expenses paid) - no resources from California
Responsibilities:
- Oversee, direct, and manage offshore managed service client's team from the Big 4
- Migration of SAP S4 Hana to cloud
- Working with HANA database in clustered and high-availability environments
- Performance and tuning on HANA database
- Backup and data recovery for HANA database
- Experience with SAP S4 Hana / Basis, particularly in migration projects
- Experience with SAP SWPM tool
- Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle/MS-SQL/DB2/Sybase/SAP HANA
- Working knowledge as a system administrator with at least two of the following: Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, or Windows
- Documented expertise in SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, including:
- Architecture
- Landscape design
- Installation
- Upgrades
- Performance tuning
- System integration
- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth SAP operations
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for SAP BASIS activities
- Participate in SAP project implementations and provide technical expertise
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for SAP system issues
- Stay up-to-date with latest SAP technologies and trends
Preferred Certifications:
- SAP OS/DB migration certification
- SAP HANA database certification
- Cloud certification - AWS/Azure/GCP
