Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in maintaining and managing Availability systems
• Knowledge of:
• Batch Jobs
• Interface
• Channel monitoring
• Troubleshooting and analysis of technical problems
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for basis technical issues
• Ability to perform:
• Admin activities
• System copy
• System installation
• Upgrade activities
• Understanding of:
• ABAP system architecture
• Work processes
• Directory structure
• Performance/Response times alerts/issues
• System logs and runtime dumps analysis
• ABAP memory structure and troubleshooting
• Security Audit Log
• Knowledge of:
• Client administration
• Transport Management
• Client copy administrations
• SAP Security
• HANA DB:
• Understanding of HANA architecture
• Monitoring of HANA system for resources (CPU, memory, threads, expensive SQL statements, etc.)
• Analysis using HANA Logs/Traces/runtime dumps
• Backup and recovery strategy
• HANA DB Troubleshooting
• Understanding of HANA Replication Server
• File systems monitoring
• Oracle DB:
• Monitoring
• OS commands knowledge
• DB2:
• Monitoring
• OS commands knowledge

Responsibilities:

• Perform Health Checks on production and non-production systems
• Provide operational support for SAP infrastructure integration
• Troubleshoot and analyze technical problems, providing Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Maintain documentation on system configurations, maintenance processes, and schedules
