Job Description:

VAM Systems is seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant to manage and administer SAP environments, ensuring system performance, availability, and security. The ideal candidate will have:

• Deep understanding of SAP architecture
• Experience in SAP Basis Administration, Incident and Problem Management, Change Management, and Proactive Maintenance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and reporting skills

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP Basis Administration: system monitoring, performance tuning, user and authorization management, backup and restore management, transport management, patch management, and database administration
• Incident and Problem Management: 24/7 support, root cause analysis, incident tracking, and reporting
• Change Management: implementation of changes, support for upgrades and migrations, impact analysis, and risk assessment
• Proactive Maintenance: regular system audits, capacity planning, security assessments, and vulnerability management
• Documentation and Reporting: creation and maintenance of system documentation, regular status reports, SLA and KPI reporting
